Striving for perfection is every aspect of life, whether it’s home, work, social situations can be exhausting. Remind yourself that it’s okay not to be perfect and to focus on progress rather than perfection.

Not setting boundaries between work and personal life can lead to constant stress and drain energy. Establish some clear boundaries that you can realistically promise to keep for yourself.
If you say you are going to leave work by a certain time. DO IT.
If you say you are going to wake up when your alarm goes off. DO IT
Create some clear boundaries with yourself on your time and self care to maintain balance and manage your energy.

AVOID NEGATIVE SELF TALK
Constantly criticizing and dwelling upon perceived failures and things you “should” have done better depletes your energy and confidence. Practice self compassion. If you mess something up ask yourself, “what did I learn from this.” This is a way to turn negative self criticism into a opportunity for learning and growth.
AVOID COMPARISON
With social media you are constantly bombarded with the perfect “routine” “ways to be happier” “makeup”. Take a time out from social media if you find yourself feeling inadequate and frustrated by seeing what other women are sharing. Remind yourself that your journey is unqiue and it is essential to focus on your own daily wins and successes in order to make progress toward becoming a better version of yourself.

Start with making small changes. it can be as simple as things; when you are asked to go to that party tell that person “let me get back with you.” This gives you just enough time and space to check in with yourself and ask if that party is something you actually want to go to and if it is serving you best with your time and energy.
