Finding Bob the Janitor

Upon finishing The Final Gauntlet you’ll learn about Autophage Perks, and after deciding whether you allocate one you’ll need to go and meet with Dr Reed and receive an update about the radio call to the CDC. Try to enter the room near the missing posters and Denise will tell you that Dr Reed isn’t there.
Go to the right to speak with her and she’ll explain that Bob the janitor has been gone for a long time. He went to repair the water supply downstairs behind the stores, and you volunteer to go look for him.
Leave the area through the lobby and make your way down to the ground floor of the shopping area. Crawl under the shutters into the Silver and Steel jewellery store and go through the back door using the keycard reader.
Through the back room you’ll emerge into a dark service area. Look over the right side of the stack of boxes to your right and disarm the shotgun trap, then go into the Janitor’s Room to the left.
Inspect the ‘Note for Bob’ on the desk, then immediately look up and you’ll see the safe code document resting on the overhead pipes. Jump up/climb the desk and grab the document, then open the safe on top of the storage cabinets to the left of the desk.
From there, proceed down the stairs partway down the corridor and you’ll see a Slobber corpse. You’ll also see three blobs of slimy material on the wall and floor near the Slobber, which will explode if you get too close. You can take the minor damage, or use a ranged weapon/weapon throw to trigger them from a safe distance.
At the end of this new corridor you’ll see a door marked ‘A’. Open it to emerge into a parking lot where several Walkers and Shamblers will be waiting.

Kill them all, then use the keycard reader to the left of the large shutter on the right side of the lot, and begin heading down the slope.
Continue downwards dealing with a zombie halfway down, and as you reach the next area you’ll see an open flame pipe and a couple of zombies.
As you approach the zombies, your objective will switch to “Kill ‘em all” and around a dozen or so zombies will flood into the area, including a Screamer. Prioritize the Screamer and interrupt her attacks with a ranged weapon, and then systematically clear out the remaining infected. With the space secure, approach the door on the right side of the room and as soon as you open it, a zombified Bob will burst out.
Bob is a Shocking Walker, so be sure not to get caught in his periodic electrical explosions as you kill him. Collect the Janitor’s Keys from his corpse and before heading back up the slope out to the shopping area, use the water valve in the room Bob burst from to restore the water supply to the hotel.
Now you can return to the shopping area and take the various stairs up to the third floor, returning to speak with Denise about the unfortunate fate of Bob.
You can then enter the room to the left of Denise and speak with Dr Reed in a cutscene, who explains that the military is in control and in order to evacuate you, you will both need proof of your immunity. He explains that he can do the necessary tests using equipment at the CDC’s HQ on the beach's pier, which you set off to get as the mission concludes.
